I swear I ain't tryin' to deal spot, as this is really friggin' expensive, but I've never heard of a Les Baer/Busse Colaboration before?! If it displeases the mods, please delete, I'm just curious as to the background on this.

I was into Les Baer 1911's before I was into Busse knives.


It was that exact combo and Les' claim that INFI would cut over 2700 cuts on 1" manila rope that led me to this forum and Busse knives. Thousands and thousands of dollars later, I still haven't forgiven Les Baer. :p

I bet those Les Baer's would do a number on some 1" manilla rope as well. :)
 
Man, I've been wanting to pick up a 1911 for a while now. Maybe if it's still for sale in a couple months I can scrape up enough money.
 
I remember this combo being pictured on the front cover of one of the gun magazines. I think it was Gun World. May still have the 'zine lying around here somewhere.
 
I remember Busse having the combo at Blade several years ago.
Sweet set up.
