almost bought a 112 Slim Pro TRXs, but decided not to. I have (3) 112 Slim Pros already (brown micarta, black G10, and marbled carbon fiber) that i really like.

While the TRXs are nice knives, I’m not so sure I’d enjoy them more than the 112s i already have. So I guess a saved a few hundred $.

Have you ever thought you wanted a knife, but then decided against it and felt “relief” that you just saved some decent $ ?

Yes, like others said, the feeling is short-lived, as I often buy it later anyways. I am a sucker for 112s. I have all three slim pro TRXs but since I dragged my feet on the slim pros, I am missing some - brown and green, I think. I wish I had all the colors of the slim selects, but I am missing several of those too. I have a least 50 different 112s. When does this addiction end?
 
I prefer the micarta over G10 handles anyways.

I made a point to buy the old Pro's before they were gone.
 
"Over 50 different 112's"....It never ends! I'm so used to buying 112's I didn't have it wasn't until 2019 or so I realized I REALLY didn't need EVERY new 112 that came out. Or every color ..I now understand what FOMO is. The fear of missing out. I missed out of buying Buck models I could have used like the Fro kitchen knives, Ground Combat knives ect. because every one of those ment a 112 I couldn't add to the 112 collection. So I have a LOT of 112's..
