My wife and I had our second daughter on May 3rd. I now have a 2.5 year old and a newborn. I am quickly learning that man on man defense is a lot harder than zone :) Anyone else recently double up and finding out two is a lot more than one?

Congratulations bammann45.

It can be a lot of work with kids so close together, but worth every minute of it. :)

Congrats bammann45! Now you can check in at BF 24 hrs a day since you'll be up! :D

Hope the little one and wife are doing well.

Congrats! Children are a blessing. Enjoy all of that sleep you must be getting! The first few months are the worst. It will get better. Just keep telling yourself that!

Thanks guys. We are finding that dealing with a newborn the second time around is definitely easier than the first as we knew what to expect. The tough part is having a very cute and demanding little toddler scampering around at the same time wanting all our attention as well.

two, eh. Sleep? you don't need no stinkin' sleep!

But congrats on two.

I doubled up 18 years ago.

Pics or it didn't happen.

Just kidding! ;) Congrats! Things will sure be interesting around your house for awhile.

thx - cpr

Congratulations and hang in there. We had two boys 2 years and 2 months apart. Luckily our second one was a lot better then our first. The oldest boy was a hard baby.

Congrats! 2 daughters? You need to keep trying for a son. :D

My brother did. After four daughters he and his wife had a son. :D

Hah -- believe it or not I work with a guy who tried that strategy - he has SIX daughters :) Now that is persistence. Before I had kids I daydreamed about having a son but I've honestly had a great time raising my first little girl so far. I am really excited to get to know the second. Now if I can just get *one* of them interested in shooting sports :)

Congrats bammann!! I too am a double daughter dad!! They're now 4 and almost 8 and man on man is still tough!! Enjoy 'em. The new birthday ain't half bad either. I have 2 friends born on the 3rd, one on the 7th, my brother on the 8th, another friend on the 21st, and mine is today!!

Best wishes,
Jonny

Congrats to you and your better half! Its all good brother!

I think I've got most folks beat with good/bad timing(depends how you look at it really :).)

My Son is 11 months and 8 days older than my Daughter. They are both the same age for nearly a month every year. Talk about your rappid fire kids. :D :D

On an unrelated note I have upgraded today to Gold. I've been here 4 years and enjoyed it much more than my post count would indicate. I will now pay my own way henceforth :) Now I just need to ask for a easier handle!

Good for you man. Two heads are better than one so just enjoy the moment with them. Anyway it's worth every minute that it takes.

Congratulations!

Remember, sleep is for the weak. And you're going to be very, very strong. :p
