Any help/ideas on this? I have a bunch of knives I need to sell ASAP so I am anxious to get them listed here before Thanksgiving holiday break.

Yes, I keep seeing a reference to this but can not find any place where I can see or change this. The link you gave me only resolves to this for me:

vBulletin Message
There are currently no public usergroups available for you to join.

Did you recently pay for membership because you're not showing one? If you did then I would imagine you paid by PayPal which has to be manually updated by the owner. If not then your membership has expired.

I was wondering if that was the case as it has been around a year or more... but my profile still showed Gold membership so I assumed I was still in good standing. Is anything automated here? Seems strange that these types of things are not accurately reflected on the web site.

It used to be, but vBulletin dropped the feature and now you have to update it yourself.
Unless you re-up before it actually runs out.

OK, well thank you all for replying, I really do appreciate the help. I just went in and paid up for another year via PayPal, so hopefully that will get updated to my account soon so I can get going with my sales. I tried using authorize.net and my credit card but I kept getting errors so I just decided to take my chances with PayPal as it was easier.

Looks like you're good to go but follow the link in the second post to change user group.

I'm having the same issue. When I followed the link in the second post, the page is basically blank with this message...
"There are currently no public usergroups available for you to join."

Any advice? My profile also reads "Gold Member".

Try to keep clicking on it anyway. Mine said the samething and I clicked and it went to where I could change it.

chadridv, it's no good clicking on the link to editusergroup if you are unpaid. Go to Paid Subscriptions, which should give you your status -- or when your subscription will run out if you re-upped.

chadridv you don't have an active subscription and there's no record of you paying for one in 2016. If there is an issue with a payment already made, please make a separate thread
