Gee, this is cool!!

Do anyone remember the Gerber Multiplier i found?

I did it again!!

This time it was a Leatherman Wave!

It was not in the same condition as the Multiplier, the serrated blade was broken, and the regular one was very badly sharpened, but hey, it is a Leatherman!!

Hi Norwegian,

Now, where did you find these tools? On the shelf in your local hardware store? :D

You lucky dog.

My step father returned once from a fly fishing trip and showed me the Leatherman PST that he found on the bottom of the stream they'd been in. It had apparently been there for some time, but it was, overall, in good shape. So, I ran it up to Leatherman and they said, "It's under warranty." They replaced the hopelessly rusted file, upgraded the Philips to the new style, sharpened the blade, polished everything. Got off all the minor rust. They made it as good as new for no charge. So, I'd suggest just sending it in to Leatherman.

So all of the lost knives in the world end up in Norway...
Would you mind looking for a few that I've lost? ;)

Hey, that must have been the Leatherman Wave that I lost while on a fishing trip over there last Summer...LOL!!.:D.

BTW...Nice find. Now, you just need to send it off to Leatherman for "repairs".:).

I am sorry to bring this topic back on top again, but i have been away from the computer a few days...

Sending it back to Leatherman sounds like a great idea!
but will a broken blade be covred by the guarantee??

I will call the importer for more details over the weekend.

Ron@SOG, I did not find it in my hardware store, I found it at the road. It was inside a sheath, wich I thougt would fit for the multiplier. It was first when i picked it up i saw that it was something inside :)

Hi Norwegian,

I know you didn't find it on a store shelf...I was messing with you! :)

BTW, what part of Norway are you from? I have family in Mosjoen have have traveled there.

There are a few places in Norway wich is called Mosjøen (Ø is a scandinavian letter, only used in Norway, Sweden and Denmark), so what county is it in?

I live in the southern part of norway, near Kristiansand.

I knew you messed with me finding it in a store... :D
