Dear Dan,
Hello from Bangkok. I am wondering how the progress of my order is going? It's been over a year and the order which was meant for my anniversary which will come around to the 2nd year soon. I am planning a trip to LA next month so you think it will be finished by then? It would be great if you can so that I can bring them back to Bangkok myself. Please advise. Thank you.
 
I apologize for the delay. I'll send an email and we'll take it from there. I am working on them today.

Hi, Dan. I have already send you an email. just in case you didn't have a chance to read it. i'll be going to california next month, between the 9th-21st of april. can you please ship my orders to my cousin's house between that time so that i can bring them back myself. if you can do that it would really help me save a lot for the shipping and tax fee. here's the address;

2. Nessmuk in 3V, Natural Canvas Micarta with Natural Leather Quickdraw sheath = $340
3. Nessmuk in 3V, Black Canvas Micarta with Natural Leather Quickdraw sheath = $340
4. Monster Nessie in 5160, Natural Canvas Micarta with Natural Leather Quickdraw sheath = $385

I have started all the knives and have 1 finished, and the rest ready for heat-treat.

If you check the various update lists you'll see you are listed on all of them. I can't do yours ahead of everyone else's. I thought I'd have more 5160 Monster Nessie orders come in, but I haven't. It costs' me $100 to heat-treat whether I send one knife or twenty. So I try to send more at a time. I might be able to heat-treat them at a buddy's place - will have to check.

I apologize for the delays and miscommunication of how my order process works. I didn't promise the completion of the order - I told your friend I'd have 3 of them finished, and I was hoping to have the 5160 Monster Nessies done. I did not, however, get to them yet as I am trying to get all these 3V orders out to heat-treat. I have about 450+ orders in the works right now and am doing my best to keep up with everything. I am sorry that I have not yet been able to complete yours but will continue to do my best to get them done as soon as possible.

Wow, sorry to hear this. I love Koster knives but I find this troubling. Hope everything works out for everybody.
 
how are my order of knives? there were a few people pm to me with concern to take action but i am still being very patient about this. you know this order is an anniversary gift, i really don't have the idea of the steel type(3V or 30V it doesn't matter to me). so just give me whatever steel you can get done. i don't want it to pass my third anniversary. by the way, thank you for all you guys who pm me. i started out with good intention of getting my husband the perfect anniversary gift so i really don't want this to end badly.

wow!!!...I really hope you get your knives in time. That's a very special anniversary gift that would make any man happy to receive.

I've emailed you twice with no reply - did you get my emails? Please check your spam folder.

The knives will be done Monday. I'll need a week for Butch to finish the sheaths. Please contact me via email with a shipping address.

The Monster Nessies still need to be finished. I'll have them done by Monday. I've already called Butch and he'll be by to pick all the knives up for sheaths. I apologize for this taking so long - I wish it had been sooner, of course. But stuff happens and things don't always turn out how I want them to.

I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread - please contact me via email ASAP (or have your cousin call me) so that we can resolve this quickly and amicably.
