which is the Calypso Jr to arrive. This would be my next Spydie after the Native. I like the Native a lot but some more delicate cutting tasks such as thin slicing are harder to perform. After searching through the forum about the Calypso, I am hoping that it can fulfill my needs. I am new to the knife world and am still learning from all of you.
 
If you are talking about the new calypso, jr., you will not be disappointed. A beautiful light-weight everyday knife which is ergodynamic, even for my large hands. I use mine as a money clip. I wish Spyderco would also do a full calypso or endura with the same sort of finger choils and the same finish as the gray calypso.
 
Yes, there is no other knife like it. What a slicer, it bites everything I put in front of it. It makes short work of cardboard, it will even cut through wood easily. I carry mine to work every day.

The Calypso Jr. that I ordered is the new one with grey handle.
