Okay, you guys will probably laugh, but I got a set of sticks and downloaded Danny Inosanto's book, and have been furiously working the sticks.
There IS a lot that translates from Rapier and Gauche, but the speed is incredible!
I'm in LOVE and can't wait to take the sticks to Rapier practice tomorrow morning. I'm gonna kick some BUTT!
I don't remember who said it, but they were right when they said similar tools dictate similar technique.
Just for giggles and the sake of experimentation, I tossed a two foot length of Garden rake handle into the air and neatly snapped it in half with one swing of the stick.
I am VERY impressed with these little things!
Who'da thunk that such lightweight and SHORT sticks could generate so much power?
So,
My question is, failing driving to Pine Bluff weekly, *pretty impractical even for me) where can I find good videos for sale online?
BTW,
I do want to thank all of you for all the time you've given me so far on this. I know a lot of my questions seem rudimentary, but I do appreciate your time and effort.

I cut it, and I cut it, and it's STILL too short!
