Just got my small today and now I can see. It isn't prettiest knife or the most gagety knife but it is the best knife I have ever owned. The blade is PERFECTLY centered when closed. The blade locks securely as if its a small fixed blade. There is absolutely no vertical or horizontal blade play whatsoever and it was very sharp out of the box. Its a keeper.

Two things: Check the texture of the handles. Any idea how somebody got metal to feel so velvety? And, pay attention to that finished blade spine. Those are damned unique in production folders. A true mark of quality and class.
