Well,
My Machax should be here tomorrow. All these years and all the Beckers I have owned and sold. I have never seen a BK4 in person.
I am gonna like it...I am a big Kukri guy, so I know this is my Becker.
I am actually going bonkers for Beckers right now. I love how this knife collecting thing works for me...maybe I am not alone.
I like something, and then think the grass is gonna be greener over here...oh..look at that...I want one...gimmie that...

Well, I am an old fart now.. and I think I just want knives that are fun and tough. Stuff I can use, and not have a care in the world about it.
Beckers are cool on a bunch of different fronts. You can collect them, they have a sordid past ( like me:D) and or you can use them..they are tough as hell. You can trade or sell them in a heart beat, which makes owning them a little easier..for me anyway.
Anyways..just ranting and raving over here...I want my BK4 dammit. And I don't care who knows it.

Oh yeah..I am gonna Clich the shit outta this thing when it gets in...I liked that bio-hazard symbol BK4 the other day..I think that would look cool etched into the flat, what do you guys and gals think?

Look forward to the arrival of your Machax with anticipation and glee, not frustration. Leads to the dark side it does. Well, okay, maybe not, but I'm in a weird mood tonight and I'm just writing gibberish.

Oh yeah, pics or it didn't happen, gunknifenut. :D

I know all about waiting for a Machax to arrive. It's like waiting for a cinderblock to be lifted off your gonads.

he tells falsehoods. he's seen several BK4s :) mine :>

course, he probably forgets... old people. go figure :D

the new Machax is pretty handy. i've been chopping root and all kinds of stuff. we'll see how that factory edge holds up over time.

best part, i can sharpen it. over and over.

plus it's still in production :D

I think your Nucking Futs, ....really? I remember your BK5 and some VERY nice Kukri's..but I don't recall the BK4? Anyways...
It arrived. I like it, Its light and fast. Should make a great chopper. It needs some micarta..and some etching, and a good stripping to.

Here's the family
As you can see, one of these Beckers is not like the others! :)

oooooooo aaaaahhhhhh. its not dirty yet? cmon man. Strap that to your jazzy chair and go the park where you play chess with bill cosby and yell at small children, and chop something!

*the above statement is only relevant if bladite is in fact correct about your age.

Nice set of choppers you got there. So what are your thoughts on the 4 now that you've got it?

I do believe that I will let out a little secret...Bladite is my senior. By many moons. I think. All my gray hair is on my chin and all his is still on top of his head though. My memory is a bit fuzzy though, we might be close in age.....:)
No worries Clich, I got home late from work...I limped in...and there was a box..I took out my dentures and gnawed at the shipping tape, almost lost a tooth in the cats dish...the much younger lass I call my woman strolled in, and whipped out her Dozier Kabar that I bought her, and snip snap..I laid eyes on a Machax...(for the second time I guess) ..then I took out my bi-focals and really took a long look at it.
Great knife. Can't wait to go for a hike and chop something with no mercy.

i trim my grey with a 30 year old machax

one has been told that there are rashes older than that ;)
