Rabbitstick is the "mother" of all Primitive Skills Gatherings. 20 to 30 classes held EACH day from September 11th thru the 17th. Some of the world's best instructors and great fellowship. $275 for ALL those classes with food included is a deal. Food is really good too!

Grand Tetons in the distance, coyotes singing you to sleep and bugling elk to wake you in the morning... :)

Here is a video I made from my trip last year, first pick is the list of classes...

If you have any questions, let me know. Hope to meet some of you there! Thanks, Chris

I wish I was going with ya. Id love to go, and meeting up with you for some hand drill instruction, and dirt time would be awesome.

Rabbitstick is just outside Rexburg, ID

As for a list of classes, below is a link showing what to expect, but this is not near a complete list. With so many instructors that may show, in addition to who is normally expected, specific classes I would expect not be determined until right before Rabbitstick. I am not speaking for the organizer David Wescott; this is my educated guess.

Here are a few examples of what to expect that are not listed on the website; there is a class on animal processing where you and your class kill and process a goat on site, Cody Lundin usually teaches fire and signaling classes, Mors Kochanski has been an instructor in the past, Ron Hood (R.I.P.) was in attendence last year...

Point is, there are so many classes you simply can't take them all and there will be many pleasant surprises in what you can learn. In fact, you will have to make some tough choices, especially with some projects taking longer than others, like make a braintanned buckskin or making a bow.

There will be the best of the best at this event, many authors, academia, 'survival' school owner/teachers, etc. The group picture in my video near the end is JUST the instructors.

Will leave you with this... many of the teachers at this event are the mentors of some of the names that are popular today. Hope that helps and to see you there. Chris

Steve Watts has been trying to get me to go for years, but I haven't found the time yet.
