I cant tell you how many times I wrote this and it never seemed adequate.
So, look out here it comes.
I have always had to work for and havent been given many things. I am very passionate about a lot things in life and this gesture meant more than I can say. I have lived long enough to learn to appreciate the sentimental things in life more than the rest. A little background....
Its been a tuff road to hoe for the past 6 years for me and the family. I fell on my face more than once. Finally, at the end of this summer a light .
I came back from a vacation with the kids and went to PO to deliver some packages. My postmaster said I had a package
I wasnt expecting anything. I got it and it was heavy. I flipped box and it said Horton
I took it out to the car puzzled and started opening it. I am still trying to get over what I found inside
THere was this little post it note that said,
" Built for Good People in Bad Times"
I sat in the parking lot at PO shocked at the beauty, balance, and sheer size of this monster. I shed more than one tear on the way home thinking about the past few years and the friends that I have made along the way.
THis is the most intimidating knife I have ever held. Simply amazing!
I hate to say I couldnt just pick the phone up and call....
I started drinking, thinking, and yes, celebrating
I called Jeremy later that night after the kids were down. I told him how much it meant to me and thanked him profusely.
Jeremy told me that he and Bruce put this together, and that Redbear has a matching twin:thumbup:
My friends. I will never forget, and I will always cherish it as much as I do our friendship. THis one is mine until my son inherits it.
SO, I thought it was fitting to call Chuddy Bear and have some pants made. THey are incredible and have bandolier rigs that have multiple options for carry.
