Those are very nice looking examples. It's a tribute to Buck to create a model that is so long lived and so well known that you can say "Buck knife" to about anyone with even just a cursory knife knowledge and they'll know what you mean. The 110, or a variant. Even the quite similar models produced by other well known makers, people will call a Buck Knife. It's come to mean a type of knife more so than the particular brand/model.

How come I couldn't have someone in my families past come up with such a good idea? Lol.
