Good evening folks:

When I am not hunting, I do a lot of salt water fishing here in the northeast. I am looking for a decent saltwater knife, preferably a neck knife - for easy access, but a belt knife will work. However, I am not looking to spend big bucks. My bait knife just isn't doing it!

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

I was looking more for a fixed blade but that is pretty nice and the price is very reasonable, thanks!

I didn't even think of the Spyderco Salts I though they would be pretty pricy.

+1 on a Salt, but I'd go with a Salt 1.
For a belt knife, how about a SS Mora. If you rinse it off after use with fresh water, rust shouldn't be an issue.

look for the CRKT M.U.K. At that price you could afford a couple, I have not owned one myself though.

Benchmade Griptilian H2O, I find the blade shape more agreeable than the salt series (just my personal opinion) , all it needs is a rinse in fresh water after you get back home, its light but the handle is nice and grippy, ;)
