I am new and need w/ ASH1 Sheath

Plain and simple man.. I am bbrrrrrroke If I can find a low cost sheath. My wife wont shouve My ASH 1 invoice down my hole. I will accept any help or advice. I am hoping to stay under fifty bucks.

(1) Which variation do you have? The thicker ASH1?

(2) Do you want a specific material like kydex, leather, cordura/nylon? or does it matter?

I got a Steelnut kydex for mine, $55.00 shipped. It is very nice! I think Steelnut has a WTS thread for these in the exchange. I'm not really a kydex guy, but all the Hogs have Chuddy Bear backed up for awhile.

don't forget about rainwalker. he does kydex and leather, too, and happens to have a couple of ASH-1s on hand so you don't have to send your new baby away.

Thanks for the responses guys. Price is more my concern right this moment rather than material. I like chuddys work but its out of my price range. I really like the Survival Sheath but Im a little afraid to mod it. Steelnut does very nice work and am considering his kydex sheath...thanks SN

No worries man. I am one of the worst. In fact I even got my own sticky here regarding no auction spotting. I was just throwing a word of caution just in case. That's all. :thumbup:

If you forgo the belt clip device, the sheath is only $45 so is under his price range. Since the clip is a common device he could order one later when he gets more funds in the war chest. Until then paracord works fine to attach a kydex sheath to a belt...some even prefer it.
