I am new here and need advice

Hello everyone, I am new here. I enjoy knives but don't consider myself a collector. My father who just recently passed was a serious collector. I have inherited his collection. The collection ranges from Chris Reeves, Lile, and Dozier to Civivi and everything in-between. I can't keep everything there's just to much, but will keep the ones that I know were special to my Dad. My question is how do I determine their value and where do I sell some of them without being taken advantage of? Thanks for any advice you can provide.
