i am new here hello to all

Case xx is just term that means.. checked twice (something to do with their inspection)
Most if not all of the knives say this...
What type of knife is it... Trapper, stockman.. etc... bone? plastic?
Post a pic.... or a link to a similar one...
Avg is probably in the $40-50$ range...... could be alot more or less depending on what it is..

Case also used a dot system to date their knives. These dots will be found below the Case name on the blade. If your pic doesn't show them let people know the dot count if there is one. Also are the dots above or below the USA stamp and are there Xs and dots? If so how many of each?

i just need to know what type of case and approximate value someone told me it was made between 1940 and 1960
 
and on an old knife pics of both sides helps as value is determined so much by condition

This knife is a 4" jack knife that is generally referred to as a half hawk bill or loom fixer. They will normally have two blades that extend from the right side. Most of them have a large sheepfoot master blade and a pen secondary blade. Case introduced the knives sometime before 1940. The handle materials used on this pattern include black composite, bone, and laminated wood. The black composite handled versions can be found from the pre 1950 era. All were made with laminated wood after 1970.
