For the past few days I have not been able to upload photos to my Art In Stone Hosted Knifemaker's Forum. I have restarted my computer to be certain it is not an issue on my end and I have done a Norton virus check with no issues found.

Would it be possible to have this looked into?

While not a permanent solution to your immediate problem, I would use imgur.com and host photos on that site. They seem to be very stable and the site is clean. At least until the issue can be resolved.
Now, when you try and upload a picture from your computer to the forums, what exactly is happening on the screen. Are you getting any error messages or red txt indicating the nature of the problem? Are the photos too large? Is the format correct? (Jpg, Gif, etc)?

First the upload photo button is only allowing me to select one photo and then it just acts like it is uploading and spins until I can't stand it and move on.

I have never had to size a photo before uploading in the past as the system seems to size them and the post shows as thumbnail picture. Well it did until a few days ago anyway..... :-)

I have posted over 1000 pictures but only am at about 20% of my allotted space on the server.

Okay, it is now about a week since I could post a photo. I have tried resizing the photo, updating all software on my computer, restarting my computer, verifying I have no virus issues via Norton software so where do I go from here?

This started about the same time that the banner add test started so I believe there is a connection.

My hosted website is pretty useless if I cannot post photos and this is supposed to be the Tech Support location for the site. Why am I getting NO Tech Support?

It REALLY would be nice to get some TECH HELP!

I finally can load one photo at a time. I logged out of the Bladeforums site and manually logged in again and now I can load one photo at a time.

Something is really wrong with my account it seems and it would be NICE to have some help in sorting it out.

I don't think it's connected to the banner ads as others have uploaded pics. Have you tried a external pic hosting site as suggested? Are these sales that you're trying to post if so you can post them in the makers section of the Exchange.

I have used less than 10% of my allotted space on the Bladeforums server so I have no reason for me to figure out how to use an external pic hosting site.

I have apparently somehow gotten part of the problem fixed as I can now load one photo at a time. What remains to be fixed is the usual ability to upload five photos at one time.

Note that the weird reaction my account had to me manually logging out and back in. That should not have had an affect on my account but it did and I can now load one photo at a time.

If you can upload a decent sized image of any old random stuff to an image hosting site, and it works, your bandwidth up isn't the problem. Worth a look?

You might also want to consider dumping your cookies and clearing your browser cache.

I'm home from SHOT and will be working on this when I have a chance

Thanks Kevin. I think I gave enough detail for you to understand the weirdness of it. I did not know you were the only one with access to looking into these weird details so I guess my comments about "why no Tech help" were a bit premature so my apologies for those.

FWIW, I am having the same problems as redrummd. The "add files" box will only allow one photo added at a time. The little circle usually just spins and spins until I back out and move on. I finally got two photos on by greatly reducing the size.

I am having the same problem and I had to go back to manage attachments to get anything to work . Just clicking on Insert Image would not allow me to select files .

Well, I am kind of glad to see that others are having the same issue so it is fairly conclusive it is not a failure on my part or my hardware.
