I have been a fan of knives for years. Never really started collecting them. I now have maybe a half dozen, not so "collectable" knives, but I like them. That is all that matters to me. I have been a part of this forum and another knife forum for a couple of months. I am proud to be part of these forums. I have read so many threads where someone post about giving away a knife. Or someone post about a need and without fail some offers to send them a knife free. WOW! That is just great. I am not yet in a position to do such a thing. But when I am I will carry on the tradition of passing on the gift of knives as I can. Anyway, it makes me proud to be part of such a great group of people called knife nutts/ collecters.

Welcome... IMHO this is the best knife forum there is.

Just a core of great folks here and I have been fortunate to have met many face to face. To be a mod of this place humbles me as a person, knives aside. It is good to have a place where friends can be made.

Thanks to all who have made this place so great over the years and to those who have joined and recognize what we have here and help carry the torch. This is indeed a very special place because of the people who are here.
 
After I just read my own post, I hope that I did not come across asking for help with the scouts idea. I will edit it and take that out because that was not my intention and I appoligize that it appears that way. I will be more careful in my post in the future.
