Folks,

A couple years back I bought a 3" Slicer and posted that I had joined the herd. Well, the knife got sold shortly thereafter and I have not been back since. . . Until now.

I just made the purchase of this 3" XM-18 Slicer today! I hope you will welcome me back with open arms.

Oh, and congrats on the slicer - it's a nice one! I saw it on the exchange and was tempted myself, glad I held off :)

That is nice of you to say but I imagine the XM-18 was the deciding factor, that thread just reminded you of what you were missing. But I am glad the thread was helpful.

Seems like a lot of folks agree on the 3" as an EDC. That makes me even more excited to get it.
 
Sounds like you're happy to be returning, so welcome back.

As for my 3" EDC input it very much depends on the individual's needs/wants. I carry one for a portion of most every day but it's not my primary go-to if I have a 3.5 and/or a 24 along. However, in an office type setting or when wearing lighter / workout clothing, the 3" is a nice option. Then again, I am a guy that carried/ies a 24 to many a formal occasion including (not mine) weddings, etc.
