I will pay top dollar, if anyone's interested. Also, I have a brand new M43 with horn grips made by Kumar that I'd be willing to trade for it. (I hope this unabashed solicitation is OK here ;) ) The only catch is that it must be mint and a non-blem.

Please e-mail me at thiellaw@prodigy.net if you are interested. Thanks.

I just happen to have one -- one!!!

Bura had a lot of stuff in the pipe line when he went down with his stroke and it's still showing up. There's a lot of work to be done on a knife after the kami is done with it. Apprentices have to polish it up and perhaps make the karda and chakma if they're good enough. Then it sits for awhile with the sarkis while they make the scabbard for it. Then it sits longer waiting for some brothers of similar size to make up enough for a parcel to be shipped. I figure I'll be seeing Bura stuff come in for another couple of weeks. And my hope is he can let his helpers do the pounding and that he can still do hands on work and keep producing even though he is not pounding. He'll go nuts if he can't produce one way or the other and we don't need anymore crazies than we have already.

Wow... that's awesome! I'd like to take it. I think you have my information. If not, please let me know, and I'll send it to you again. I'll send the check out today.

Thanks, Uncle Bill,
Adam Thiel

Bura Chiruwa AK???
Mate, you are one lucky gun. I thought it was an already extinct species of AK, and so no longer available. I was thinking about getting one as my first, but went for a sirupati instead.

As to HIKV:
"I just can't get you out of my head,
AK's all I dare to think about...
Every day, every night..."
:D :D
