Buck 110 was my standard carry for 15+ years, then I got to the forums and found all the other nice sharp toys and I put my Buck away. I got it back out the other day and I can not go back, well maybe for one from petes shop.

Now I stopped in here and I see a thread about model 532 with BG42. I start digging more and I see read about the master series have BG42. 532 and 501 sure do look good and I will probably need the 110 also. Is it true that these will be added to Pete's shop? If not you should.

Buck, how could you do this without telling me? I am going to have to keep a closer eye on this forum from now on.

Who has the 501 or 532 in stock?

Not too many places have a 501 master series in BG42 and I know of no place that is carrying the 532ms.

I just saw a 532ms go for $120 a few weeks back in the For Sale section.

Buck is coming out with a 532 in BG42 later this upcoming year so you should be able to have a 532 soon.

Jeff Clark gave me the tip that landed a 501MS from Cumberland Knives a few weeks ago. They were on special there, but now long since gone from stock.

I'll have to check my emails to see if 501MS's were offered anywhere else.

Dennis Wright did mention having one in stock back on a thread over a month ago:

I'm not overly optimistic, but you might give him a try.

It's a great knife ... my user that I carry even over the 532MS cuz I'm not so worried about its looks. Very sharp no-nonsense knife with an unbelievable edge.

Tho it doesn't have the fancy filework of big brother 532MS, nor the bells and whistles of the modern tacticals (not a single screw that can be adjusted or removed), it nevertheless has a solidness that instills confidence.

My thanks to Longden for the referal and to frodo for the transaction, I now have a 501 MS on the way.

Happy Holidays

Congrats on finding a 501 MS!

Does he have any more....LOL?!

I found an Buck 500 with real LOW price on it and it was calling me, and an old 105 in yellow box (handle is a little faded and stuff, but it will be a user). Two different small stores that had this stuff tucked away.

I am not complaining.

If any one is looking for some RED handled fillet knives in the old style yellow/manilla box send me an e-mail: retail prices, but old stock.

Ray, sorry you missed out on the 501MS ... a great knife. Email me if you're interested in another deal, I tried to email you but it bounced.

Longden,

I had a feeling this foolish satellite e-mail of mine doesn't work some time.

I sent you an e-mail back about 'x'. What do I expect from 'free e-mail'....LOL.

Ray, bounced again, this time on a plain and simple "reply". Gotta find yourself a primo email system at least equal to your knives

Basically I'm offering to trade/sell a knife you'd doubtless be interested in.

If you don't have another email address, try sending me an email to my alternate address at LLoo@worldnet.att.net

Tho I can't get to that one except every couple of hours.

Longden,

We be playing POST tag....LOL. Sorry Bo, for doing this on your thread.
