You warned me... Yet I was foolish enough to think I was strong enough!
Only 2 days after getting mt xm-24, i have deleted everything that was on my wishlist, to replace it with a 3"xm-18!
 
Not sick.... just In Love, same symptoms.
You will stare and fondle a lot, sleep patterns will change you will go to bed thinking about her BUT also the "other" being contemplated, you will think about what you can live without in order to have your new love, willingly shun others that once had your eye.
You will look for things to do together.......

Excerpt from a recent episode of Dr. Phil, (it was me :( ): " Mike caught me dancing once .......with my Ti Spanto Flipper. He just turned, shook his head and left .....mumbling " Yep, He's got it bad".

I feel you're pain. I'd love to pickup a 3.5. Really need to build up the savings though so it is just not an option ATM. Maybe I should sell this and buy that.

Such torture! In a good way.
 
I try to tell you guys as often as possible. One more often than not leads to another, and the cycle is likely to continue.
 
I also started with the 24 recently then to the 3". You will end up with the 3.5". It's like too big, not big enough, just right. Don't get me wrong, I still love the others but the 3.5 is pocketable and has the best of both worlds.

OK, this is getting crazy. That's exactly how I described then to someone who contacted me about buying one from me recently. He could only have one, but couldn't decide which.

None of you happen to be in SoCal, do you? Would be great to actually handle the other sizes. ;)

Oh goodness. Maybe that's not a good idea. It IS a sickness.
 
RobertK...where in SoCal are you? I have a XM 18 3.5 and an XM 24 if you want to sample them firsthand. I am already looking at another 24...in XHP...dream knife for me. Truth be told, however...does anyone here think I'll ever notice a difference between my S35VN and an XHP blade? Lots of paper, cardboard and wood cutting involved...maybe the rogue zip tie once in a while...but that's the extent of duty.
 
1Shot I'm in Laguna Hills. Or La Mirada if you count commuting. :)

See, that's the difficult question I'm still struggling with in Rubi's "absolute favorite" thread.

But, I can say that I choose the 3.5 as primary EDC. It's most often paired with (only because I can) a 3" Slicer @home and a 24 when not home.
 
I sold off all of My other knives almost 9 yrs ago to feed My Hinderer Addiction. It is a slippery slope , but a fun One !!!
