Hello Everyone,

I can't believe that I finally found a Large Regular in BG42, I was in a training class at work which was getting a bit boring, so I pulled out my phone and checked the exchange. I really couldn't believe what I was seeing, so I immediately contacted the seller and the deal was completed within minutes.

A NIB Large Regular with a date of January 19, 2000

Here a few pics of my new favorite...:D

Awesome Knife Andre!! :thumbup:The Plain Jane Large Regulars are one of my favorites!! A very nice piece of CRK history!
All the best, Dave

Thank you very much Dave, it truly is a beautiful piece. It's just amazing how perfect the condition is of this beauty is, it's basically factory fresh.

Thank you Ben. I'm afraid this one will never be a user. It is the oldest CRK I own, and like the Zaan man said "A very nice piece of CRK history!" It is in pristine condition and I intend to keep it that way.

Nice and congrats. Is it going to be a user?

Just what I thought. It looked so
Pristine to be a user.
It is a great feeling to be the guardian for this fine piece.

Very nice

I have a plain Small Regular with BG-42 and really like it.
Can't bring myself to use my year 2000 Large Regular Pheasant Tail with BG-42 though, so I've started looking for a plain Large Regular myself. Congrats on finding yours !

Thank you very much Ken. I would also be hard pressed to use that 2000 Large Regular Pheasant Tail with BG-42. That is a very special knife as well.

Take Care.

I have a large CGG with BG-42 that I carry from time to time. Wish I kept all the ones I sold.

Enjoy!

I'm sure selling some must have been difficult. I plan on keeping mine, I'll sell all of my other brands first.

Thanks DBH

Maybe this is just the first time I've noticed but what's up with that pocket clip? Will it fit my 21? Untill Casey gets his deep carry setup finished up and produced I may have to get one of those of it'll work.

Congratulations on acquiring such a fine example of Chris Reeve cutlery. My large regular BG42 Sebenza is one of my all time favorites. You did well!

Thanks Bill, yeah I think I'm going to leave this one in its new original condition. She's a beauty.

Wow way to go. I love mine and that piece of history is something to have. I use mine and think I am crazy.

Here is a regular BG-42 that I have modified to a clip point. I also had the handle anodized and added a newer style clip. I also enlarged the lanyard hole to accept a push pin release lanyard.View attachment 427890
