First off, I really like the A-100 pattern, which I consider the best edc I have found. I have a 2008, low number Ceracote 'satin' PE which is a 'safe queen' and a 2010 'no number', stone washed satin PE, which is an edc. Anyway, while browsing my regular dealer, I came across an A-100 PE/BT, which I swear called out my name. Well, out came the card, 'click' goes the 'buy it now' key and budda-bing, the count is now three.

Now, where did I see those Mini A-100 knives. ;)

I know.... The last thing I need is another knife, but i started poking around on the Emerson site the other day and before I even knew what happened I had a few on the way. Should be here today. I feel so dirty..... Haha.

You should hear my wife: I swear she was googling 12 Step programs the other day. Fortunately, one of her medical friends said that knife-collecting is not technically an addiction, so it is not covered by insurance. Yea! I'm NOT an addict. More knives on the way:)

Re: A-100 PE/BT Just received mine, from W&W yesterday!:p My favorite Emersons are the A-100 and CQC 7A

It is nice to know that I am in good company. ;)

Haha, I'd be embarrassed to say how many knives I've bought in the last year. I'll post pics of the Emersons as soon as I can and you will see how I should probably be in a twelve step program!

But the A-100 is a classic design, and unless you already have some Vipers in your collection, then you actually NEEDED that one...

I have a 2010 no # PE/BT and it has served me well. I vowed to EDC it exclusively for a year and a month in and it keeps taking the abuse. I'm missing my 10 but I am starting to love the simplicity of the A100. I too plan on buying a mini. I have a 2 month old son and I think a 2012 Mini A100 would be great gift for him someday.

That place is local to me. Do you have any idea how hard it is to have a place like that so close to home???

It's got to be tough, my wife informed me I've spent on average $4000. a year there. If I lived close by who knows.

I am thinking that we should all be in a 12 step program, the 12 steps to buying an Emerson. ;)

Buy 2. Send me one. Thanks

Hmmm...lemme think...NOT! :)

Thanks for the rationalization, Doc. Ya, that's it...I needed it. :D

An excellent reason to get a Mini A-100!

I hear ya, Mike. I would be ruined in no time. It is bad enough that I have W&W on 'speed dial'.
