So I bought a ZT 0200 just for giggles....and I am sold. It's as close to a fixed as I have ever seen in a folder. Still love my Military, but might pick this in the "shit has hit the fan" and I don't have my Becker on me scenario.

Glad I am 6,5"....cause any shorter it my be a little too much. :D

Which ZT?

I love my 0200, and you are absolutly right, they are the go-to knife for when the smelly waste hits the rotating blades.

I'm pretty sold as well, I was always partial to Benchmade.

Picked up an 0301 blemish around the 1st, and my 0551 came in today.

VERY impressed with both.

I am very impressed with the 350 I just picked up. They seem very overbuilt and that matters to me in a knife.

My friend got an 0200 on my recommendation and it exceeded even my expectations. Other than the steel, it's an extremely competitive offering at its price point. I want to get one, but I just spent too much on an 0551 (due in today!). Guess I'll wait...

I have all of them except for the 055 and shockingly, my favs are the 0400 and 0500. I really thought the 0300 and 0200 would be it, but alas.

But they're still great knives. Just subjectively didn't do it as well for me.

Yep, ZT makes some awesome knives. I don't like the recurves on the Onion-designed knives in their lineup, but the quality is undeniable. And I absolutely love the 0551.

I just picked up a ZT 301 in a trade and I am VERY impressed. High quality, blade is centerd perfectly, very sharp and built like a tank. Nice "thwak" when it it deployed. It is one heck of a folder.

Can't wait to get my 0551! Heard nothing but good things about ZT and I had to jump on one when I saw them in stock.

Yep, all the ZT offerings are great knives. Quality product, priced fairly, and with great customer service to boot!

I now have more zt knives in my collection than any other brands. And the only knives on my horizon to pick up are going to be their new releases!

154CM is a great steel......seriously. What is wrong with it?

I have gone bonkers over knives over the last few years. I have a collection of Benchmades, Bokers, Bucks, and Kershaws. Last spring - I had to get a ZT-0301 - WOW! Autumn came - and I added my first CRK - a Wilson Combat 'Umnumzaan' - double WOW. I had both - and a Benchmade Skirmish - in my pockets when I stopped by my 'enabler'. They had several ZT 0551's - I grabbed one - it was perfect - and mine for a bit of a discount. Okay, a big wow!

The two ZT's are great - I am really blessed to afford such quality knives. Okay, let's also understand - I haven't done my taxes yet... may need money... who cares... I have neat knives! Seriously - every knife guy needs a ZT... and, for calibration, a CRK!

You ZT fans are all the same. You can't stop saying good words about your dang ZT's. It's all your fault that I have 2 301's and a 200 on the way. You made me do it.

I didn't mean that 154CM is a bad steel, I meant that many options in the 0200's price range are competitive mainly because of the steel, whereas the 0200 is competitive due to an overall solid knife. Take the Gayle Bradley, for instance. Fantastic steel, but the ergos have nothing on the 0200. Then there's the Stretch 2 in ZDP. Again, great steel, but the handle on the 0200 blows the Stretch 2's out of the water.

BTW, just got my 0551. Ordered it on Tuesday, came in today. Couldn't be happier!

No doubt the 0200 holds a special place in my heart. First folder I have ever picked up that left me with that "This would Cover me" feeling.....:D
