Just pack up those heavily patina darkened 19th century knives and trade for some of these. Plenty of interesting stuff including a copy of Mike Chappel's Gurkhas (under books).

BTW, those nice shiny HI khukuries would probably work too. :)

What would you trade for this slightly used Kentucky Fried Chicken knife? It's full tang and is made from some space-age material that isn't steel. It's serrated and seems to be missing the handle slabs. Also it's missing the sheath. 6" OAL

Bruise the knife is a good collector's piece and all, but without the fabled Kentucky Fried War Spork it just aint a complete set ;)

I still have my 50,000 year old khukuri -- mint condition, looks almost unused, no rust and sent with gold embossed certificate of authenticity. Dust bunnies said they'd take an even million for it.

Whew! I am glad they didn't say dollars. I think I still have some old Mexican pesos around. A million of those would have bought you a second rate lunch.

I like the "Khyber knife reproduction".

Do you think the tempering is correct?

Best regards,
Stephen NERY.

I don't really have a good way to test the temper. It feels OK but with a heavy knife you can't really tell.

I would like it. I'm looking in my collection for an exchange... maybe. We'll speak about that by email, OK?

My scanner is working except for the yellow line that goes down the page but I can send a copy of the gold embossed certificate of authenticity.
