And it happened so fast. It started with a BK16, innocently. Package arrives, knife in hand.... and then some strange affliction takes over. To quell the urges I just had to order a BK11.... and why not a BK14 at the same time? And as long as the packages are on there way, why not some nice micarta scales for them all! Feeling the high now, hope it lasts. For the sake of my marriage that is.......

The only known remedy for BAS is daily doses of BK.

That's how it starts - an innocent little 16.
Now that the small stuff is taken care of, you'll just need a big one...
What micarta did you get for the 14? Izula, perhaps? If not, we'll need pics.
 
i'm in a group. i haven't had Becker in months.... i've come close to giving in to the temptation though. $50 Camillus 7, $50 BK10, $150 new Blackjack Reinhardt Kukri.....(that one, i still regret.. sigh) on fleabay...

I think I just bought that Cam 7.....they say that 25% of people suffer from BAS - the rest just enjoy it.

Edit: I was wrong, it's a roll stamped KB 7 - which I have not received yet. But I'm waiting. Patiently. It's good practice.
 
I am so glad I don't "suffer" from BAS! There is no suffering involved with the enjoyment of seeing packages from fleabay and UPS ! I also swear that I don't have a problem, I can quit at anytime, in fact I have quit buying knives and accessories several times already this year.
 
I bought two BK9s in the course of a year, one old style one new style. Last week I bought a BK13. Yesterday I bought a BK7.
