Just this passed hour rec. the Blade Tech RB. Trust me on this one folks everything everyone has written about this knife is absolutely true. Extremely well made and as good as any folder I have ever owned and this includes my Sebbies, my Clarks, Ralph, Lightfoot, Adams, EKI, BM, Spyderco, and ones I am sure I am leaving out. How can you argue with a solid frame lock folder Ti both sides, very nicely sculptured g10 and a big ass wide cutting
S30v blade?! The only thing I can think of that would make this folder PERFECT for me is tip up carry. But I can live with it the way it is. I haven't even used the knife yet and this is the first time I have ever been as impressed with a knife out of the box as I am with this one. SCHWEET!! keepem sharp :D

I have been eyeballing these! They look freaking bada$$! Reminds
me of my Zero Tolerance 0302.

NO!!!...................I am the Rijbak man!!;):D I figured you would like it longbow. It is a super knife. I would like to see one of the Rijbaks with the silver twill G-10 grips. Blade-techs fit and finish seem to be second to none.

I'll try and get pics up later if I can figure it out. I am completely astounded by this knife. I paid 170 bucks from a lg. vendor in ebay and it is just astonishing to me how nice it is. Like I said I have owned a ton of knives over the years. All with good and bad points. This knife just stands out as uber quality in a non custom folder. Matter of fact I don't know of to many custom folders that would be better as for fit and finish. I have tried to nit pick it and my only gripe is the tip down carry but they must see a reason for this I am sure. What you don't get an idea of in pics is how large the blade is in relation to the handle. It is also very beefy. I have a kershaw comming JYDII and hopefully it will be as nice. Keepem sharp

I'm another one that bought one after Jill Jackson posted about hers. It didn't let me down. It's sturdy , and very well made. It comes pretty tight with fine tolerances. The lock is tight and takes more effort to release when new untill it breaks in. Mine had a great edge on it out of the box. It's my 3rd blade tech and they keep getting better. Joe

The way the locking bar is fitted impressed me greatly. It sets almost entirely behind the blade tang, unlike many frame-locks that barely hold the blade open. Plus it's well fitted so there is tight blade lock. Can't beat it for the price.

Congrats on your new knife!

I own Emerson, Al mar, Lone wolf, kershaw and a rijbak. I feel that the rijbak dollar for dollar is one of the best knives in my collection. F&F is very good. The frame lock is rock solid . The blade design is great IMO.

Yeah, it was JJ's rambling's about the Rijbak that finally got me off the fence, and glad it did! One thing I don't understand is that this knife does not seem to get the same amount of attention as some other knives. Of course as more and more people find out just how good this knife really is I guess we will hear more about it. Btw, the last issue of Tactical Knives did have an article about the Rijbak. Anyone know when the carbon fiber and silver twill G-10 gripped Rijbaks are coming out? Seems like there was a picture in the TK article that showed a Rijbak with the silver twill G-10. Man, it looked SHARP!!

I have been handling it and using it all day. Just cutting random stuff, sausages tonight for a pasta mix I was makin my ol'lady and I for dinner. I tell ya I just can't find fault with it. Not only that but when you deploy the knife and stop half way and then kind of move the blade back and forth around the pivot there is 0 slop. On most others I can detect abit of play around the pivot where it goes through the tang to mount the blade. This one none but it is smooth as butter. I am glad they aren't as popular as you think they should be cause for 170 bucks you can't buy a better knife. I'll have another before the weekend is out me thinks. As for the different colors I don't know I like the black scales and gray frame. Just simpler I guess. Beats me I just know I like it. keepem sharp

Dang Longbow! First the Crucible now the Rijback! I definitely like your knife choices (of course great minds think alike ;))

Yep very fine knives indeed. Just traded a bunch of my EKI's for a Strider so we'll see how that one stacks up. I have an HD7 and that Kershaw JYDII frame lock coming in SG2 also. Oh yea lest I forget that Silent Partner I had to send back into Black Hawk for repairs. Just picked up a Les Adams custom on a trade for a Surefire CQC8 also. I am liking this trading thing I'll tell ya. The Rijbak rules though so far. Well thats it for now, keepem sharp
