OK as many of you know we supply knives to several movie houses and production crews.

I have been asked to help on the next Steven Segal movie which will start filming very soon. It will be based on a story in Detroit so you can imagine what knives will work best.

I will need to ship knives to the production crew before the end of this month. Knives not used in the film will be shipped back to me. I am pressed for time and need all knives in my office by Friday of this week.

We are looking for highly tactical style folders, butterfly knives and any unusual fixed blades and tactical fixed blades.

We would need two of each knife but if you can't do that one will be fine. The reason for two knives is one is "live" for action filming and the other is "dead" or dulled, for scenes with the actors. Again 1 will be fine as we can film the action scenes first and the dead scenes later or I can sharpen the dulled blades on demand as I did for GI Jane.

Anyone wishing to have their knives sent for consideration by the director need to get their knives to me by Friday as I have to get the customs and importation documents in order.

We can not guarantee screen time but I did get a lot of time for knives I put into GI Jane, 6 Days and Seven Nights and several other films.

You can call me @ 1-800-956-4652.
The address to ship the knives to is:
WOW
Attention:Props for Movie
5151 Sunbeam Road
Suite #4
Jacksonville, FL 32257

I will release more info on the film as it becomes available to me.

Hiya Boss!
Personally, I think you oughta tell Mr. Seagull to put up or shut up and forget about using the dull blades! He's so "Oooooooohhhh... I'm Mister Tuffguy and be kind to the rain forests or I'll swing kick your sorry arse back to whatever redneckland you come from, yo! Yo! Yo!"
mad.gif

That said, I'll send ya a buncha knives (I call dibs on the Sifus!) so long as they're returned sharpened. (I have better luck sharpening whipped cream than I do with knives)

Do you think that if you sent them my Deadly and Scarly Leatherman Micra Page that they'd use the ORIGINAL Micra in the film???
(Wouldn't want it to get stuck up anyone's nostrils though.... there's enough goop on it already!)

OH! and a friend of a friend of a friend just might be able to get a hold of a Ballistic Knife but he/she would want to make sure that he/she'd get it back.
(Probably be the first time that evil thingie'd be used in a flick, eh?)
Not that I really know who has one, winkie-winkie-nudgiepoo-nudgiepoo.

Off to disguise myself as a really big CQB6 to get in a movie,
I remain,
VG

Mike,
I MAY be able to get an American Ninja to you by friday......Providing one of my customers will agree to a deal that they CANNOT refuse
smile.gif
.....I have NONE in stock.
My only concern is that it doesn't have the subdued, dark, "tactical" look.
The larger knife in the photo is the American Ninja!

jesus mike! how bout a little shorter notice next time

Guild show is next friday and i can hardly get knives done for it!
these hollywood folks buy the knives or what?

Perhaps I am misunderstanding the situation and Mike will correct me, but as I read Mike's post:

Mr. Steven Segal would like us to give him our coolest knives.

Knives not used in the film will be shipped back to me

But nothing is said of those used. We have been told that the edges may be substantially reground.

Last time I checked, Detroit was still part of the U.S., but the short time frame is apparently due to "customs and importation documents". Strange.

Sorry, Mike, we love 'ya, but mine knives are staying right in their deposit boxes.

Balisongs -- because it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing!

Ya I know it is short notice as I just found out Friday myself and this was the fastest means I had to get the word out.

The knives will be shipped to Canada which is where the props are being brought together for the film and maybe where some of the film is shot. That is the reason for customs.

Thanks for all the help guys, I hope to make this the most knife happy film in years as I was a bit disapointed in GI Jane and I was on the set!
