I picked up one of these over the weekend. I've purchased MA supplies from I and I in the past and was surprised to have discovered the collaboration. At first the knife struck me as kinf of plain. The handle is square and the blade, though 4" long, it not as broad as the Mach 1 or Commander. The handle does share the similar index cut out. After handling it for a few days now, I have come to really like it a lot. The index cut out, at least for me, feels a little thicker than on the Commander and the reverse grip feels better. The simple squared end also allows good capping for the thumb. At for the blade, the ratio of it's weight/length to that of the handle weight/length make for a very balanced fighter. Emerson really knows how to design as a knife for the MA.
