I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes for myself and a family friend. My uncles father in law is doing better. He is still having his troubles, but he is healthier and his infection is almost gone. I have gotten a good bill of health from the doctor, and while I am not out of the woods yet, I have been told to wean myself off pain meds and my stationary boot. The boot brace has been unlocked, and I will start driving again as soon as my new truck is ready.
While walking into my docs appt (with a walker and later in the day with my walking stick), I received a text from a friend that her body might be rejecting her new kidney. I have not heard back from her. She is one of my best buddies, and like a sister to me. She had diabetes and smokes, but was doing a lot better. I ask for your prayers, smoke and well wishes, because they work!
My other buddy is in hospice. He might not be able to walk again. He has been battling CDISP for some years, and cannot walk. He is one of my best friends, and the first thing I will do when I can drive is to go visit him.
I appreciate your prayers, they have worked for me, and I still welcome them. I believe that they have helped members on here as well as their loved ones.
