...Can anyone tell me about this set? I have had it for many years and want to give it to my 30 year old son. It has been used very little. The largest knife out of the three has never been used. I called Buck Knives 800# and maybe I didn't describe it right, but, the guy in the retail store called it a filet knife and said that they are now sold individually. That doesn't sound right to me. Looking at the posts here, it sounds like the Empress Trio is what I have. I know that it had a wooden box that attached to my wall. However, that box is long since gone.
Is it worthwhile to give it to my son. I mean a Buck knife is a Buck knife,
right? And these seem to be pretty nice and in very good condition. I actually just bought the Lancer for myself for a Christmas present (I am a woman) so that I could keep it in my wallet to trim strings or tags or...whatever.
Okay, so I have been rambling (refer back to the I am a woman part), but, any info on this set of knives would be appreciated. Like the material of the
handle, the year it might have been made and the value currently.
Thanks for your help.
