I received a package in the mail on Wednesday, from Bmurray Bmurray

I bet it was something nice. But I guess I’m not the only one who thought that.

Here is how I found the package in my mailbox.

The U.S. Postal Service acknowledged this of course.

They even added a label on the front. Alerting me that the package was empty.
They described it as unsealed. It was sealed just fine. Someone just tore into the middle and stole whatever was inside.

Since I’m pretty sure Bmurray didn’t steal his own gift. And I know when I received it, there was nothing to steal. By deduction, that means someone in the Postal Service stole it. Pretty low.

It’s almost like we are now paying people to steal out stuff. Not the end of the world for sure. But a downer never the less.

Here on the front side is what the Post Office had to say about it.

I called the U.S.P.S. and got the Postal Office version of Sargent Schultz!

I have had this happen several times. even boxes tore open. then the usps says too bad.

That package looks very much like one I sent years ago. Envelope with a decapper stem in it- 3" long piece of 1/4" drill rod. Post Office sent me a NASTY letter letter me know that my envelope did $$$ damage to their automatic sorter ;) Seems it could not make the turn and jammed the rollers.
