A one-handed Outrider? I know it doesn't exist, but that's what it looks like.

Btw, you should have all implements deployed when asking for ID.

Kind of my ideal SAK....is that a SwissBianco sprint run???

Is the Victorinox logo a sticker?

Take an OH Trekker, and Outrider. Disassemble:

Take scissors layer from Outrider:

Enlarge holes on scissors layer. The OH series use fatter brass pins:

Insert scissors layer into the OH Trekker:

Viola, everything that I need in one tool. I can't believe Victorinox doesn't produce a model that includes a one-hand-opening blade and SCISSORS!

Viola!

viola - a four-stringed musical instrument of the violin family, slightly larger than the violin; a tenor or alto violin.
voilà - interjection used to express success or satisfaction. From French, voi see! + la there

Viola – female lead in the play Twelfth Night, written by William Shakespeare ca. 1599–1600: a Cyrano-like romanitic go-between in drag, passing for a castrated man. (No one has accused the Bard of lacking imagination.) Would like to see Gwyneth Paltrow or Halle Berry in the part before they are too old.

Hahahaha! sweet idea! I think though that with all the blades out there they could actually ask someone what would be a good idea.....One of the SAK guys at the plant was going to make an 'AIR TRANSPORTATION ONLY' SAK with no knife blade. The handles were to be printed with that as well. Dunno what happened to it.

Are those brass retaining rings around the peened ends? I need to take one apart I guess to see.

What are you drilling against in picture three, looks pretty ah, home made...

Overlocker, nice project. What kind of tools does it take to do it???

just a drill press, dremel, hand files, vise, small hammer. emphasis on small, you need a hundred very light taps or the brass pin will bend. you also need proper diameter brass pins

yes brass rings that also hook into the handle scales

yes it's silly. scissors are so uselful...

I'm guessing it's not possible to just switch the blade from the OHT to the Outrider, right???
