I blame this forum. . . .

Yes it has! I had the same thing a couple months ago.

I got a Kershaw scallion then a byrd cara cara, then a used griptillian, a BM mini pika G-10, a 950 rift which I had to sell (unfortunately), and then a boker subcom. All within 2 months I think. I then realized I wanted to try pricier knives, which was a mistake, I sold all the previusly mentioned to a nice forum member and now have a Bradley ALias 2 and a Spyderco Para2.

I have to consciously stop myself scheming about ways to get a sebenza, and stop myself from not getting the next BM 710 or 940 that pops up FS. This forum is full of members who will entice you and bring out the worst of your addiction. Stay away if you can.

BUT if you cant.... WELCOME!! LOL

You have just found your calling!

Blame is just another word used to hinder one's deepest feelings about something in particular. ;)

Here on BladeForums we act as a community/family and support others habits.

The Centofante 3 is an awesome blade, but I think you will like the Sage2 overall. Yes, this includes my bias as the Sage 2 is my favorite Spyderco ever made.

Cento3 is super light with a crazy thin hollow ground blade, but frn + lock back aren't my favorite attributes. The feel of a finger choil, FFG, Ti frame lock, and deep carry wire clip are turn ons! :D

I eyed the Cento 3 as well but never got around to buying it. If your unfamiliar, the Bradley Alias 2 is a titanium framlock made with the same materials as the sage 2, and if the sage is anywhere near the quality and feel of the Bradley you will be very very pleased.

As soon as I started lurking around here back in 2006, my knife purchases went up by 1000%. It went through the roof the day I actually joined. Luckily, I am in denial and have no knife addiction... yea right :D

Welcome to the forums and drop by Traditional sub forums too. We need to get you hooked on on traditional slippies and beautiful jigged bone aswell :D

So, you've ordered more than one knife, before you even recieved the first? Way to go, you're one of us.
I've done a similar thing, many times. Order a machete, before it arrives, I've decided to get something else as well. In the end, I get a third, custom made, cause no-one makes what I want.

Brother you have no idea what you have done...I started with a Spyderco Delica and BM Mini Grip... Now I've bought and sold at least 50-100 blades and have owned the same knife 3 or 4 times...and then find yourself buying another one. I'm on my 5th Sebe....sold or traded the other 4 to buy and try something else....my 6th Strider PT....and the list goes on and on. Welcome to the nuthouse...it looks like you'll fit right in:cool:

Welcome to the madness, this place is full of enablers. On the plus side, there are many other addictions out there that are much worse. At least with knives you can resell them if you need some money or decide that you don't like one.

Another thing is that once you start carrying one you'll wonder how you ever got along without it. I had mine fall out of my pocket the other morning and didn't realize it until after I got to work. It bothered me all day long. I might have to start keeping one in the truck for just such occasions.

See what this place does to you?:D

for me it stared a little bit before i found this place

After doing some research, I decided on the Spyderco Centofante 3. It looks like a great knife, and I was all excited for it to arrive (this Wednesday). Then I did some more reading, and I think I made a mistake. I love the Chris Reeve design, and I saw the Spyderco Sage 2. It looks like a great knife, and I have fallen in love with it. I think I'm going to order my second knife before the first one even arrives. When I do get both knives, I'll compare the 2 of them, I haven't decided if I want to keep both, or maybe send the centrofante 3 back, and get a sharpmaker.

The Centofante 3 is a wicked-awesome knife and a superb slicer. You should keep both if you can. You'll enjoy having a bit of a selection, I promise!

There's no such thing as 'the' knife; only 'the next' knife... :D

Welcome to BladeForums, The absolute best place on earth to shoot the sh..t about knives and knife related stuff.. :D

I was thinking the other night how it's probably a good thing that I don't have a lot of money... ya know, a good way to keep a reign on my knife buying...then I thought, WTF? am I crazy?? so anyway, had to buy a couple of powerball tickets...wish me luck...;)

Good luck man... Seems that the second you join the forum... you are doomed to buy and sell knives like crazy!
