So what does that have to do with knives? Everything!

I bought what some would call "off brand" jeans last week. One of the things it said on the labeling was that they had a feature called a cell phone pocket. This pocket measures 3 inches at the opening at the top and 4 3/4 inches inside to the bottom of the pocket. This has replaced the watch pocket on the jeans.

This pocket completely hides comfortably, even when sitting, my new 4 1/2 inch GEC #23, and one of my longer non- traditional knives except for 1/4 inch.

A peanut would totally get lost in this monster of a pocket.

I hope this just isn't a passing thing. This is really great!

I can usually make do with the little coin pocket that most jeans have. With regulations here in the UK I can't carry much bigger knives than that, and I like single blade slippys so they usually fit snuggly. But glad to hear you found a set of jeans for your needs! :)

I have yet to see this new adventure in denim apparel but it sounds like a perfect pocket for ones edc.Which off brand were these pray tell?

Kirkland, or Costco...

I hope this isn't against BF policy?

Funny you should say both those things.

First place I thought of was Costco(Kirkland leans are a great value) and then I wondered if asking for the info. was taboo?

My bad ,and thanks.

I have some Gander Mtn. brand khaki work pants with pockets like you mentioned. Love 'em!

It's a bit off topic, but it isn't deal spotting. To my knowledge, none of our BF dealer members sell jeans, so listing a place that sells jeans is not in conflict with them.

I buy my jeans with cell phone pockets from Dickies.

I've been buying Schmidt jeans with the right side leg pockets and hammer loop...my fixed blade EDC rides comfortably and discreet in those pockets. Good to know I'm not the only one buying clothes because of carry options:)

I'm still going to make some leather slips etc for my larger knives but this helps while I gather the goods and take the time to make them.

I have some Wrangler Riggs jeans that have a cell phone pocket similar to what you describe but it's only about 1.75 inches wide. I carry my Leatherman Juice S2 in there. My knives ride in my right front and watch pockets. Ironically, my cell phone won't fit in the cell phone pocket.
