I guess for someone in Kitchener, Ron Post's home of South River Ontario may seem like "Northern" Canada - but for us actually in the North, it doesn't qualify . Seriously though, thanks for bringing Ron Post's knives to our attention. Some nice looking designs there.

I have a stag lock-back folder from Ron Post. The fit and finish is excellent, and alot of bang for the buck IMHO. It kinda reminds me of a little "The Edge" movie knife.

Ron makes fine knives and gets too little exposure. He is a professional trapper for anyone who does not know and that has taught him what works and doesn't in the bush.
