This is a 2 part thread; first I decided I want a titanium framelock and looked at Sebenzas and Striders and I just really do not care for tip up carry and could not justify the expense to my wife, so I went the 172 it got here yesterday and I am very impressed with it. The lock up is very tight and F&F is fantastic. I am currently spending a month carrying only traditional knives but that is up next week and this will be my EDC folder after that, to back up my Large Stockman of course. It is what I consider to be the perfect size for EDC large enough to get the job done, and small enough to to raise eyebrows.

Second part, I bought a Buck 110 at a local retail store and it developed a lot of blade, so I sent it in and within 15 days it was back good as new. They replaced a lock spring and it looks better than it did new. I am really happy with the customer service. That is why I like buying from Buck, an American company that stands behind it's products.

congrats on the new knife and the buck restoration. that must make you feel good.

i have owned quite a few chris reeve knives over the years; sebbies and mnandis. those knives are amazing. very worth the coin. it took me a long time to get the nerve to spend that much on a knife, but they are worth it.

I love my Buck 172 as well. I've had mine for several years, and hope to one day try a Sebenza and some of the other higher dollar produciton knives, but the Buck May TNT will always be with me.
