Well I had some extra money, thought I'd blow it on a knife. So I went on down to Gunz & Archery store where my uncle works and picked me out a stainless steel handled Endura. This is the first Endura I've OWNED. The second Spyderco I currently own(the other is a Q that is not parting from my possession until I'm dead.) Anyway I really love this knife, it's the ONLY quality rockerbar locking knife I have(all the others being linerlocks, framelocks, etc.) I had thought I liked the linerlock, framelock, axis lock, et al better, but I've been brought back, and realized that if it's a quality knife then it doesn't matter to me. I had the intention of looking over a few to find one with the most perfect fit and finish. Alas, there was only one available, but the fit and finish are nearly perfect, and it's the sharpest knife I have right out of the box. This is compared to the ones I've sharpened myself, so I'm impressed. This is a slick knife, and I don't just mean the handle. :) Too bad I hadn't been able to handle an endura for more than a few minutes at a time before I bought this one, or I would have had one much sooner. So, to make what could have been a short thread a sentence longer: I really love the knife.

I also just bought one, its a very classy knife. Alot of people want to touch it and they love the weight.

Glad your happy with the knife. I got an Endura about 10 years ago (dam time flies) anyways, it has always been a work horse. I bought one for a friend about 6 years ago and he carried it as a duty knife and broke the tip off. He later bought some other knives to replace it but mention to me that he really like the Spyderco. He was very happy when I told him that Spyderco now makes it with a metal handle, so he ordered one.
I have a question, is the handle like the older zytel model in shape or like the newer one which is more square? Thanks
