I don't know what to say....today I bought my first ever spyderco...
It was only the "cheap" tenacious, but I was blown away by it!!:D

Previously, i really didn't like spyderco...the design wasn't my style and at least here in Japan, they were (and are)rather expensive...but 50US$ for the tenacious didn't sound too bad, especially considering the rave reviews it has received.

The quality of the knife, the ergonomics and the overall feel, has left me with a desire for more spydercos;).....I mean if the "cheap" model is this good, how good is a more expensive spyderco then:eek:
 
Get a para/military next. It's made in Golden and the F&F is mind blowing.
You could also get a sage II (made in taiwan, but the quality is on par with the ones made in golden).
 
I to really like my Tenacious, it reeks of quality and doesn't seem cheap at all!

Another :thumbup: for the over-achieving Tenacious.

The EDC of choice lately.

But yeah...the Para would be a nice choice for another.

BUTTER smooth. Oozes quality.
 
Spyderco is the best production knife company in the world.They have realy stepped up to the plate the last 3-4 years.I think their h1 is epic, the only steel on the market that work hardens and gets better everytime you sharpen it.The list goes on.:thumbup:

Bro---I've had Sodbusters, Sebenzas, a Warren Thomas and everything in between. My Spyderco knife has seen more pocket time than any other folder. We all know now that the P-Mil is King! At least to me. ;)
 
If you are loking for a step up in quality but still want the "value" of the Tenacious I would take a hard look at the Manix 2. It blows my mind that you can get this knife for $80.00.

I second that! Very Tenacious like, but with more beef :thumbup:
 
Better have some EMT's standing buy if you ever get a Millie or Para. The quality is quite a shocker.:eek::D
