I broke my Balisong in today

I got my first cut while I was on the phone at work on hold. It is not bad at all, kinda just a nick but it did bleed. Has anyone here never been cut? How bad have yall been cut?

I have a Concealx(sp?) question. how much do those sheaths typically cost? I am on a very limited budget right now so every dollar counts. I like the one Susan reviewed on her site that you strip down or up and the balisong is held horizontal. If the Concealx is expensive I would like to know if there are others out there but less expensive. Otherwise I may just end up getting a regular jag sheath because its cheap and it maches my bali.

I actually saw bone once on my index finger....right on the first knuckle...took forever to heal...

but as for conbcealex what you pay for is what you get.. I do not know the final price but you should be prepared to pay at LEAST 6.00 - 7.00 per blade inch. it was a nightmare from what i hear.. just go ahead and ask Matt Draper.. he is a nice guy and welcomes inquiries.

My BM42s just took a nip out of my hand tonight. The thing's so light, and I am not used to it. I rotated too fast on a flip and the tip caught me between the thumb and forefinger. I caught the knife and the blade's so sharp, didn't even know I cut my self until I saw the blood. The cut was small but I must have hit a vain; it just gushed.

I had Ralph Turnbull make me a double edge latchless 6" bladed bali years ago. It was so heavy that I couldn't get the rotation fast enough sometimes and I cut myself across the back of the hand and knuckles so many times that I had to get rid of it! The one and only double-edge bali that I'll ever have..........
