I just got all my pieces back from a machine shop. I had the plastic screwed onto the base, and the shaft/back plate welded to the base. I also had some holes drilled for the two support rods and the main pivot rod.

The plastic hangover is so that I can temporarily install various magnets. The metal block for the blade table will be held by two small clamps for now.

I need to get two more drill stop collars, and some set screws with knobs for the back plate. I'll post some more pictures once I get back from the hardware store.
