The website for the I.C.C.E Show is up (http://www.icce-show.com/). Here's a line-up of the table holders:

Gary, specifically in which area of the Marriott will the show be held? I've heard the KC Marriott is a newer hotel, but it also includes the old Muehlbach Hotel? I want to make sure the rooms reserved are in the building housing the show.

Really looking forward to attending this show in the town in which I grew up!

Thanks,

Bob Betzner

Bob,

The way I understand it is that the show will be entirely in the Marriott on 12th Street between Baltimore & the old Follies Theater (just north of the Municipal Auditorium Garage). The Marriott owns The Muehlbach which is just across the street but as far as I know all is scheduled for the Marriott. My room reservation is in the Marriott anyway which I believe is where all the knife makers will be.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

We played each other in football. '66 -- North Kansas City.

Yep, that's for sure. Though about the only thing I still remember about those days and football was the first year at KU, sitting in the stands in Oct 1964 ,and watching Gayle Sayers run back the kickoff from Oklahoma for a 96 yard touchdown. The game was all Oklahoma after that until the last 30 seconds when, as I recall, Sayers was involved in the second touchdown run (or pass) that won the game, 15-14.

I had a friend who was a freshman playing football for K.U. then. He invited me to visit him one weekend and I will never forget the size of the guys playing there. I always thought that I was a fairly big guy until I stood next to some of them in the chow line. :) A humbling experience for sure.

I attended Southwest HS for my Soph/Jr years. 64/65 ....Wrestling..not football.
Most outstanding memory....being bitten by a copperhead in the biology lab (my
study) on election day'64.

That's pretty wild. I don't think we got past earth worms & frogs. Can you imagine any school keeping a poisonous snake these days?

Will be a great show, we have all the right elements.
Good idea to create a specific website!
