First of all I just want to thank Bryan Breeden for working with me on such an off the wall design. It serves my purposes well and that is what's important. I know most will say, WTH!!! but to each their own I say. I first got the idea several months ago when he had shared pictures of his small belt axe design. I really liked the short faced design of his axe but after some discussion with him asked if he could make one with more of a knife ULU shape. He worked his magic and the end result was what I have called THE TERMITE....(hope you don't mind Bryan??):P Yeah I know everybody wants to name a knife??!! I thought it was appropriate because it is quite the little wood eater!! It is .25" 0-1 which in hindsight I might have went thinner but I do like the heft of the thicker stock. It has only seen use at a couple of camping trips but will definitely be along for many more. I have 3 other Breeden knives and they all are superior outdoor tools. I am especially lovin' my EDC in 0-6 that is INDESTRUCTIBLE!!! Just wanted to say Thanks again Bryan for working with me and bringing this great wilderness tool to life!!:)

I like it! Congrats on a cool, unique design. Can't wait for further reviewing and more pics.

Bryan is like a lot of the other makers here; a talented craftsman who is a pleasure to do business with.

It reminds me a little of this wacky design that I came up with and posted a while back, I'd intended my version to be lashed to a stick when needed to give extra leverage when chopping !
Great work buddy I like it, but then I am as nutty as they come !!!!!

Thanks Pit. I'll say if thinking outside the box makes you a bit nutty, then I to will wear that same label with pride!!!:D I realize some of my ideas are a bit out there ,but on occasion I realize that one is worth bringing to life as Bryan did with this one.

I like the looks of that! Very neat. A lot of the odd designs catch my interest, and I like this one quite a bit.

Hi all,

Thanks for the kind comments one the hatchet / ulu type knife that was made for Chris. AKA budda72:D

Chris that is a great name for that little hatchet/ ulu type knife.

You are very welcome on the 0-6 steel knife:thumbup:. Are you going to post any pics of it and the other small knife with the orange handles?

Take care and chat with you all later,

Bryan

Yeah Bryan, I think I need to take a Breeden Knife family picture:P I will post a few tomorrow. Thanks again for the awesome tools you have made for me. I'm looking forward to adding that new edition to the family we talked about a few weeks back:) As always  to you Bryan and your awesome knives.!!!

That's a pretty interesting blade there. Bryan showed me some pictures of that one when I talked to him about making a hatchet for me. One of the changes I might make to mine if I were to do it again would be thinner stock as well. It still works great, so I'm not going to complain any. Great tool you've got there!

Nice job Bryan & cool Design Chris:thumbup: +1 on Bryans work...It's top notch & good stuff ! Bryan is a great guy to deal with to ;)
