I Can’t Quote Messages using iPhone

For some reason, I can’t quote messages or insert quotes. Is there a fix for this.
 
What device are you having the issue on?

What method for quoting are you trying to use?

Click on +Quote, click on Reply, type below the box in which the quoted text appears. This on my MacBook Air.

Or...highlight the text you wish to quote and copy as you would on your device. At your message click on the quotation marks, then paste the quoted text into the box that appears, as I just did above. You may indeed have problems given your device or its OS--just going through the steps that have always worked for me.

I just went over to my Android phone to find this message box open and quoted you again from there with no issue. Hope you or the mods find a solution for you.
 
I’ve inserted quotes without problems for years, but nothing works. I am using an iPhone with the latest OS and using the ‘+Quote’ and ‘Insert Quotes’ feature. It doesn’t work.
 
Gotta be something specific to phones or maybe just iPhones, neither of which do I use for BF.

OK fellas, who posts using an iPhone?

Ok, you have to hit the Insert Quotes at the bottom to the Left of Post Reply. You just can’t hit Paste, Hope this helps.

Try clicking on the 3 dots upper right where the arrow points then on the brackets [ ] circled and see if that fixes it.

When you click on “+quote” does a box pop up and say “message added to multi-quotes”?
 
Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I do get the pop-up that says the message has been added to multi-quotes. When I go to ‘insert quotes’ nothing happens.

That is weird. I just quoted you from my iPhone. Not sure what is going on there.
 
when is the last time you cleared cache?
 
Other thought, if you’re using the bladeforums app (I don’t) maybe it could use a reinstall
 
Go in safari and make sure Java script is turned on. I’d be willing to bet half a donut that’s the issue, if your using safari.
