It's tough. Trying to convince yourself you don't need another one. But you beg and barter with yourself, whinge, lie, cheat and steal your way into convincing yourself it's ok.

Thank you HI. Your khukuris are better than (Insert addiction of choice). :)

I have a CAK. What should his next siblings be? ;)

Good news Dan! Your with the finest support group on the planet so no problem Man:thumbup: Let it slowly take over your senses and enjoy the doghou...uhh i mean community:D

Do you like choppers or fighters?

Choppers: M43, Bonecutter, Ganga Ram

Fighters: Sirupate, Gelbu Special, Kobra

Or you could start collecting HI bowies or swords...

I suggest you try out something with the traditional style tang! Maybe a big 18" or 20" AK?

I think they're all going on my list haha I do love the look of the balance but I think it's a bit close to the look of the CAK.

I like both styles in the fighters and choppers, and will undoubtedly get a few of both, but will mainly use choppers in the field.

And I'm kind of skeptical of the hidden/rat tail style tang, strength wise and handle retention, but they do look lovely ;) let's see what the next DotD has to offer :D

Americans typically like the chiruwa handled blades first, I did too. But once you own both I'd be willing to bet you'll come to like the balance of the standard tang.

You have a chopper now so maybe something faster and lighter like a 21" Sirupati for some thick brush clearing? Gelbu Special maybe even Chitlangi! What the heck! Maybe a Katana!

Ok sold me, something around 21, thin and fast. Jus how I like my women! Haha

Speaking of ...tang:D I would not worry about the strength of the rat vs. chiruwa full tang. Its a commonly debated subject here but there are many advantages to the rat tail. My favorites are it not only looks good but it absorbs plenty of shock. Chop for a few hours with a full tang and switch to a rat tail traditional style and you will know the difference. I have a few chiruwas too but mainly its personal experience and preference.
