A SH I is posted on THAT auction website. I apologize in advance if this post violates any of the rules but I couldn't contain myself. I've been keeping an eye on that site for a long time and this is the first time I've seen one come up for sale.
 
It is a violation of Blade Forum rules/guidelines.

I don't understand why Busse sells someone a knife, then won't allow them to sell it to someone else. What makes a knife so special that you are never allowed to part with it.
 
I'm pretty sure the warning is for the bladeforums "no auction spotting" rule, and not anything to do with re-selling a busse.
 
Bladeforums would prefer that you spend the money on a membership fee and sell the knife here instead of giving your money away to eBay.

I don't suspect it's an issue of profit either, a site that generates this much activity isn't cheap to maintain.
 
There are very few Busse's that shouldn't be resold and that stipulation was agreed upon up front. The "no auction spotting" rule is in place so a bunch of jerks that have nothing to do with this community don't come on all the time just to spot their auctions. You can't spot other auctions to discourage people from cleverly lying their way into spotting their auction.

I misunderstood the original e-mail. I guess it is a bladeforum violation. I was thinking of the Busse folders that were recently sold.
 
The issue of the folders not being resold, is one of honor. If the Boss has a folder design he never wants anyone else to see, unless to test, or what ever, that is the Boss's decision.

From what I understand, one of the conditions for the folder, was that it was never to be resold, or even have pics shown of it.
