I cannot post a FS thread

I am trying to post a knife for sale in the Individual Custom FS section. However, the BFC server will not let me post above a certain number of characters that basically amounts to one line or maybe two short lines. Can I try to post the FS ad in a different section and then have a mod move the post to the Custom FS section? If not, I am open to other suggestions.

FWIW, I already know the issue is not with my computer or browser.

Start with a single sentence, thn edit the rest in. Make sure you aren't posting in the makers area.

Already tried that (and hence my closed thread from this morning in that forum). I get the same result--lots of waiting only to have it time out.
 
Maybe the archives section is what is contributing to the slowness/unresponsiveness of the forums.
 
I have tried with Firefox and Safari. FWIW, I was able to post it on another forum this morning without issue.
 
Well I have managed to piecemeal a FS thread together by editing in things, which I could not do earlier. We will see if my luck holds.
 
Have you tried clearing your browser cache?
