I've been carrying this small UG Regular Sebenza for about 8 months. I reached down to pull it out of my pocket today by the custom lanyard and it wasn't there! Man, I searched everywhere. Sadly, I couldn't find it. This is the first knife that I have ever lost and it had to be one of my Sebenzas.:(

The pocket clips on the Sebenza really sucks. I trust the ones on my Benchmade 710 and Spyderco knives much more. For the Seb you really need a belt sheath.

I don't really mean the Seb clip sucks, but it could definitely be better.

Sorry to here that you lost your Sebbie mate. I hope it turns up.

Out of interest, do think it was clipped into your pocket at the time, did the clip give up, or was the knife in the pocket unclipped?

Damn! That is/was a beautiful cutting instrument. Please send me a list of all the places you've been sense you last used it. My small fits inside the coin pocket of my Levis and seems quite secure. How were you carrying yours? Best wishes finding it.

That hurts! I hope for the best, kind of makes me want to leave mine at home. My nerves would be shot for a loooooong time.

Good luck maybe it will show its self soon. :o

Very sorry to hear.

It has been a good while since I've lost a knife, and fortunately have a career total of only two losses. I know the feeling though, and it is not a good one.

I sincerely hope it turns up.

Thats never a good thing :(

Im sure it will turn up somewhere silly in a day or two :)

Fingers crossed

Retrace all your steps man. Hell, start going to places you've been too in the pass couple of days and see if by luck/chance somebody turned it in.

Good luck.....what a crappy way to start the weekend!:thumbdn:

What a bummer!

I'm not trying to say search where you've already looked but I have found stuff here and hopefully this'll help a bit........Check everywhere with a door on it, like the fridge or freezer. Around the house check cupboards and shelves.

And try jacket pockets and other clothes. If you've a car check around the boot (trunk), seats and the floor.

I hope it turns up for you. That is a bad situation to be in :(

That sucks. Time to borrow or rent a metal detector and retrace steps, the car would be my first guess or a grassy place where you wouldn't hear it drop. Hope you find it.

oh geez! you are living one of my nightmares!! Hope you find it!! beautiful knife.

Well, I've finally accepted that I actually lost it somewhere at work. I remember brushing my hand against it (a habit that I have along with checking that my wallet is still in my pocket) at work right after I got there. I had a pair of shorts on that has a small extra pocket on the right pants leg on the side just below the belt. I always carry it there to keep the car keys and change, etc. from scratching it up. I have several pairs of shorts I wear that have an extra pocket that I use just to put my pocket knife in. At lunchtime, I pulled out a large nectarine and decided to to slice it up and when I reached to pull out my Seb, it was not there. Man my heart sank. I jumped up and looked all around my cube, I backtracked to where I had been since arrived at work with no luck. I mean heck, whoever found it is going to keep it, look at it. I checked with the guard station several times to see if anyone turned it in and again this morning when I came in to work. No Joy. This was one of the reasons I never carried it when I first bought it because I didn't want to scratch it up or lose it. I finally bit it and decided to carry it. Glad I did. Not glad that I lost it. I'm carrying a different high$ knife now but it is in my right front pants pocket not the "extra" pocket on the side. I keep checking it about every 30 minutes. Oh, well, I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. I just hope the person who found itrealizes what they have in their hands...and has the gumption to turn it in.

Wow, I feel your pain. I lost a small classic in 2002 (along with my cell phone, bag, and other stuff). It still hurts.

I'd post a "reward" sign at your workplace and cross your fingers. Put that photo on it and offer $150 to the first finder. That should have it turning up soon, unless it was found by someone dishonest who really likes pocket knives.

Best of luck to you.

I try to consider everything I own as expendable, losable and just plain gone at some time.. With something like a camera, this is pretty easy to accept... With knives, I consider it a definite given. I lost a Lg. Seb in the river a few years ago... I certainly hated it... More of what got to me was the... "geez I'm a dumbass" feeling. I just plain forgot I had it IWB. I'll hate the next time too.

I'm sorry to hear that bro, try keeping it in a belt sheath when you get another ;) when I'm wearing pants where I have little faith in the pockets in respects to them holding my knvies I use a leather belt sheath and I've yet to loose that.

i feel so bad for you. i really hope someone turns it in for you. i second the idea of posting the reward.

good luck!
